Endemic to South America, the Daggernose Shark (Isogomphodon oxyrhynchus) is characterized by its elongated, pointed snout and preference for shallow coastal waters. It is threatened by habitat degradation and overfishing. Conservation efforts aim to protect its critical habitats and implement sustainable fishing practices.
